To date Al has scored the music for over 200 film and television productions. From wildlife to science fiction, history to contemporary drama, these include some of the most ground breaking shows to air in the UK: "Beyond Boundaries", "The Day Of

The Kamikaze " , the multi award winning "Anatomy for Beginners", and the winner of the 2007 Hugh Weldon Award at the Baftas - "Nuremburg - Goerings's Last Stand" are recent examples. His music for the "The Fifth Province" has been described by film critic Nicky Fennell as "..possibly the best score I have ever heard in an Irish feature film." 


He has collaborated with artists as diverse as Sugababes, St Etienne and Jacqui Dankworth. His music featured at the Tate Gallery as an exhibition soundtrack to the film of 2004 Turner Prize nominees Langlands And Bell.
